In October, we have it now but still managed to finish in the "mountains" of Alabama. Target the highest campsite Alabama (700 yards) was.
We chose the fall, since then the Indian Summer, with its many colors is really impressive.

When we were at dinner in the restaurant, we had a window seat and enjoyed the sunset.
And then we have, as always when camping, make a nice fire. The kids grilled marshmallows and occasionally came to visit us a couple of deer.

However, that day was quite cool and so we returned to our homes soon back and made our way back to Tuscaloosa.
All in all it was another great weekend in the countryside. All were off again.
