On the very last morning (Saturday 31.01.09) we met of course in my "living room" to have the last breakfast in Cafe Wien...

..it was already very sad....

...which was put in my car. Can you see that you even cannot read the sign I mean the number of the car?? Never ever my car was so dirty as it was here in Romania....
After an exhausting drive back home we finally arrived Sunday after lunch...you know the story already....

Good Bye Party at Cafe Vienna I

This is in English, so that also my colleagues from Conti can read it.
On the second last working day (Actually the 29.01.2009) I organized a Good Bye Party in Cafe Wien for my colleagues as well as for my friends; I made a reservation for the last room there and I was so happy, because 41 people came to celebrate with me my farewell from Sibiu and it was really such a nice party and everybody felt good!

That's the view from my window now now my third Apartment here :-) Is not it just fantastic?

Here again my super-comfortable flat ....


... but for 4 weeks / it was all right.

My ex-landlord has still not started the way to renovate his apartment, so I still had loose end of January can still live there. But why
Just though complicated?

Now I'm just 4 days and about 7 days here ....
the time of farewell is coming ... very dramatic ....
but it'll all be ok and although I am very sad I am looking forward to my new life with new work, new people, new apartment, etc.

(where I've been thinking when can I fly next weekend to Sibiu ;-))

Just imagine what's happened to me yesterday:

For about 2 months already lit a signal in my car, said to be the lambda sensor, but apparently, according to statements of many colleagues should not lead to impaired driving . Not likely. Yesterday morning on the way to work, my car started again, to "pull" is not correct, I could not accelerate properly and am just praying the last 1-2 miles with 30 or 40 km / h Drumul Hotilor direction and Conti gezuckelt have actually done it until the car park!

In view of the fact that Niko and I were to go the end of January 1600 km with my Polo to Germany, the helpfulness of my car specialist friend Nicu C. yes very nice, but somewhat time consuming and tedious is, I have summarily called the ADAC.
of foresight I have already completed a European insurance. I was surprised how smoothly it all worked out has the ADAC in Munich, the ADAC said modest in Bucharest who have called me back and have according to my proposal sent on time at almost halb4 a tow from Sibiu.

I had to represent make of my team leader, my colleague Andrei has offered to take matters in hand (he knows a workshop has a date identified) and drove with my stranded super dirty car with the towing to the garage. He said also: the breakdown saw bzw.robust not particularly new, hopefully my car does not have any more breaks in there, actually had the tow truck to tow my polo and not vice versa :-)

While I still have made up about 19 clock production planning for the weekend, Andrei has persuaded the shop to repair my car even once on the same evening (relationships - that's all :-)). in Romania By taxi, he drove to another company, there has got the spare part, as they had indeed been closed, back to the garage and waited in the freezing cold, was ready to repair my car.
Then he took me away again from work :-)
This is a service and once again a proof of Romania's helpfulness and friendliness - especially when compared to my German!
It's good when nice colleagues / friends added!

Sun expensive It was not at all, and above all, everything was done in such a short time and pay off the bill I had not really pressed so much work ;-)
fingers crossed that the car is now ok ....

My godmother, my uncle and my cousin, who last year to Meissen home (a village near Lahr) drawn are, I have that is told that their direct neighbors several times a year to go to Romania, since "they" Tobsdorf and is a native of Transylvania's Saxon and he is also involved in a Romania-aid project.

As luck would have it so, is Tobsdorf (Dupus) just 10 km from Medias, that is about 55 km, Here in Romania, almost an hour-away from Sibiu!
Eben said they have New Year's Eve with her two children Anna and Luke spent in Romania and continue tomorrow morning with an empty trailer back to his home country of Baden.
Adica: Now they no longer go back empty, they have already been loaded ie 4 boxes from me :-)
Spontaneously we have made an appointment for this afternoon (I will not attend to work) and after a nice invitation to coffee, sweet and fruit salad and a fun entertainment we have boxes you packed in the trailer :-)

same time, it was a nice trip for me in the snow under a blue sky Transylvania, had met a 200-strong village Tobsdorf and a very nice family!

After 2.5 weeks I sign up time back.
Have Christmas and New Year with my family and friends in BAD / KA spent. Was also a good time for me to recover after 2 months of hard here in Sibiu and easy to sleep at times viiiiieeel, and eat of course ;-)

Today on Jan 07, 2009 I am now well again for the time being planned for the last time Sibiu flown, what am already a bit sad right ....

I'll cancel my tent here in late January, I plan to ever move back to Germany in pieces.

of 2.5 weeks when I made my 2nd Apartment'm here moved out, I realized that I still have many boxes still ziiieemlich etc. here that I would like to take it to Germany ... but not everything fits the pure in my Polo!
What to do?

Fortunately, the world is so small, and Sibiu etc anyway, so that has now already done everything.
But first things first:
day after arrival I took a taxi to let me bring my car (which is at my 1.Wohnung). Ironically, it was the same taxi driver who picked me up about 4 weeks, the airport, and he has even more to me :-) reminds

Once there, the same time to the GEDU 2.Wohnung from which I so I pulled out of 2.5 weeks you can remember you? invite to 4 boxes in my car.
Then we continue ....
